YELLOWSTONE COUNTY RETIRED & SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
What is RSVP?

A nationwide (but local) volunteer program, RSVP invites adults beginning at age 55 to use your life experience and skills to answer the call of your neighbors in need.

SHARING your time, strengths, experience, insights, knowledge, heart and passion with others.

INSPIRING hope, friendship, motivation, growth, productivity, accountability and trust.

CHANGING your community and your world ... one person at a time

Do You Have What it Takes?

RSVP volunteers:

• Begin at age 55;
• Can volunteer at least a few hours every week; and
• Enjoy working with others to solve community problems

Today's adults are busy, productive people. Many RSVP volunteers use their experience to tutor and mentor children, counsel small businesses, assist at health clinics and teach seniors to use the Internet. Others distribute food to the homeless or volunteer at a variety of one-time community events. They want to stay involved with their community in ways that make a difference for those in need.

A COMMUNITY OF TALENTS

You Benefit.
As an RSVP volunteer, you'll receive:
• Free volunteer placement;
• The opportunity to share your experience and skills;
• The chance to learn something new every day;
• Supplemental accident and liability insurance, and
• The satisfaction of knowing you are inspiring others!

Your Neighbors Benefit.
Among their many accomplishments, RSVP volunteers:
• Provide food for the homeless, shut-in and hungry;
• Build housing for low-income neighbors; and
• Change lives by mentoring and tutoring youth and children whose parents are incarcerated.

RSVP Yellowstone County invites you to put your experience to work solving problems close to home. Whether teaching children to read, helping people prepare for disasters, or providing much-needed support to non-profit agencies, RSVP volunteers are changing their communities

Getting involved is the key to RSVP. Your hard work can solve problems, and you'll get back even more than you give.

Sharing a LIFETIME of EXPERIENCE to Inspire Others

RSVP volunteers use their life and job skills to change their communities.
Just a small sampling of what RSVP Yellowstone County volunteers did over the past five years:

• 1,027 volunteers participated;
• Over a half million dollars worth of service (450,026 hours) was freely and passionately contributed to local needs in Yellowstone County;
• 463 active adults became new RSVP volunteers;
• Volunteers served with 175 non-profit agencies and programs; and
• Dozens of critical needs were met and the most needy of our community live richer lives because hundreds of volunteers cared and helped!
