The foster Grandparent Program at St. Vincent Healthcare has been serving the people of Montana for 37 years. The program currently has 59 wonderful volunteers who serve the following communities in a seven county area:
• Billings
• Bridger
• Belfry
• Roundup
• Hardin
• Ft. Smith
• Crow Agency/Crow Reservation
• Chinook
• Worden
• Harlem
• Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation

 
Volunteers serve as "classroom grandmas and grandpas" in local schools, day care centers, Head Start Centers, and after school programs. They serve as mentors to children who need extra assistance to succeed in the classroom.
Benefits include:

• $2.65/hour tax-free stipend to income eligible volunteers
• Meal at their assigned volunteer site
• Mileage reimbursement assistance
• Paid Time Off
• Paid Holidays
• Pre-service and monthly in-service trainings
• Annual recognition!
